Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has developed a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) information system.

There are two ways to check the Registered SIMs against your CNIC OR ID card number.

SIM information by SMS already posted
This is the simple way to check registered Sims against your CNIC.Just send message from any network warid,jazz,ufone,telenor,zong your NIC number to 668 and you will get information of registered sims through message.

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has developed a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) information system to address associated risks on security and to ensure subscription regulations in cellular sector.

The objective of the project is to provide a consumer-based facility to mobile subscribers in Pakistan by which they would be able to find out the total number of SIM(s) registered against their respective CNIC number with each mobile operator.

A well wanted service is being introduced by PTA in collaboration with all companies. Now you can know the amount of connections issued against your CNIC.

Simply write your CNIC (without dashes) and send it to 668

e.g
Write 3749127299334 and send it to 668.
You will get a reply with number of connections issued against this CNIC for 6 companies (Mobilink, Warid, Zong, Telenor, SCO and Ufone). Read more…
