Ebay Outage Search not Working: Users Reporting
Users of the eBay auction site in the U.S this evening have been complaining of problems with the site’s search function.
According to the eBay System Announcements page, “Due to errors in some of our backend systems, members may be seeing different errors in Search.”
Some eBay users have contacted the Tribune, complaining the problem is especially affecting them because they have auctions ending during the time the search is not working.
On its site eBay recommends workarounds using the “Buy it Now” search or the “Advanced” search.
“Please note that we are working as quickly as possible to get this resolved,” according to the eBay site.
